Connecting Community with the Environment
Our education programs occur throughout the year, engaging local youth in hands-on outdoor experiential learning

Our Education Programs
Our organization works with over 650 students from across Linn County annually. These programs occur throughout the South Santiam Watershed and are supported by local and regional organizations such as the Sweet Home Ranger District, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Wapiti Bowmen, Mid-Valley STEM CTE-Hub, Cascade Timber Consulting, Northwest Steelheaders, the Calapooia Watershed Council, and Linn County Parks and Recreation.
Salmon Watch
Schools from across Linn County come to the South Santiam River to participate in our fall outdoor environmental education program centered around salmon ecology
Outdoor School
Outdoor School is a 3-day, 2-night event during the week after Memorial Day where sixth-grade students from Sweet Home learn in the great outdoors
Youth Watershed Council
The youth branch of our organization aims to work with local high school students, providing opportunities to learn and develop skills in natural resources
