“Upriver” Willamette River movie screen showing Feb. 23!

The South Santiam Watershed Council will host a screening of the hour-long film “UPRIVER” on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 6:00 pm at this location:

Barsideous Brewing (meeting room in the back)
7644 S. Main St
Lebanon, OR 97355

This film highlights river conservation efforts through the Willamette River basin and was made by local film makers at Freshwaters Illustrated.

The event is free and includes a question and answer session with the film makers. Donations will be accepted.

Food and drink is available for purchase at the Barsideous counter. All ages are welcome.

UPRIVER is a “watershed film” that explores one of the nation’s most active river conservation movements. Within Oregon’s Willamette River system, the film focuses on people from all walks of life who are coming together to revive the health of this large river and the life it supports. UPRIVER was produced with support from Meyer Memorial Trust, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board, National Science Foundation, US Forest Service, and generous individual donors.
