Come BioBlitz with us!!! Tomorrow is the kickoff for our first basin-wide BioBlitz!! What is a BioBlitz you ask? It's an opportunity to use your observation skills to help catalogue the living critters that call the South Santiam basin home! Your observations might be in your backyard and neighborhood, or you might venture further afield and visit one of the city or county parks. We are using iNaturalist to get everyone's observations in one place– if you haven't used iNaturalist before, we have tutorials on how to download and use it, as well as how to join the official South Santiam summer bio blitz. It's free, and pretty easy to get the hang of. All you need is a smartphone and a little bit of time between tomorrow, Friday, July 26th and Monday July 29th.
