We're #hiring! The South Santiam and North Santiam Watershed Councils are seeking a Wildfire Adapted Communities Specialist to work across both the North and South Santaim basins. The North Santiam sustained significant loss and damage during the 2020 Labor Day fires, while the South Santiam has not experienced catastrophic wildfire in recent history. The watershed councils in both basins are actively engaged in supporting wildfire recovery, wildfire resilience and wildfire risk reduction. We are seeking a highly collaborative person with experience in community capcity building, wildfire risk mitigation, project management, and an ability to foster and sustain strong relationships and diverse partnerships.
