DIRECTIONS: Go into the Boys & Girls Club parking lot and turn right. Then drive through a chain link gate on the back side of the building behind the baseball diamonds. The gate is on the Northside of the boys and girl club building.

The city of Sweet Home and the South Santiam Watershed Council are working together to restore ~ 3 acres of Sankey Park along Ames Creek. This February 5th and 6th we are putting 2,100 native plants into the ground at Sankey Park and we need your help! Come join us from 8AM – 2PM on these days anytime to be a part of this conservation initiative. 

Planting is happening rain or shine, so dress accordingly.

What to bring:

Water/Warm Beverage

Work Gloves

Snacks/Lunch

Close-toed shoes

Clothing suitable for outdoor work in winter (wear layers)

Meet us in the Parking Lot at Sankey each morning.
